Midlands EMS crews were dispatched to the R617 Mphophomeni for a motor vehicle accident.
On arrival, it was found a single vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times down an embankment ejecting 1 person.
The patient was found to be in a critical condition and required urgent advanced life support treatment as well as severe hypothermia.
Once stabilized, the patient was carried out using specialized rescue equipment and transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Authorities were in attendance.
