Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently (Tuesday, 21:19) searching for the driver of the silver Ford Ikon (pictured).
Reaction Officers were initially called out to Ocean Way Place in Trenance Park – KZN after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. On arrival, Officers were informed that the male was parked in the road. Residents grew uneasy as the vehicle was not familiar to them and they were unaware of the driver’s intentions.
While Officers were on route, four men in a silver Toyota Avanza (registration unknown) confronted the driver of the Ford Ikon. They assaulted him and forced into their vehicle before they sped off in the direction of Amoutana – KZN.
His vehicle was abandoned on Ocean Way Place.
