There was an attempted hijacking in Sun Valley (Blue Hills AH) by 4 suspects.
Due to the excellent camera monitoring by OSM and the rapid sharing of information with the CPF/SAPS/Security response group members were mobilised. Thanks to excellent co-ordination and response the four suspects were arrested by Axon and the CPF and 3 fake handguns recovered, a major, much needed success.
They will be linked where possible to the previous attempted hijacking and various other crimes.
We are calling on any residents who have had robberies or burglaries in the last month or so, and have not reported these, to please open up a case at the Midrand police station as it might be possible to link cases if goods are found at the suspects residences.
Please ask any staff who have had cellphones and the like robbed off them to please also open up cases.
The more we can pin on these suspects the better.
