Five arrested for illegal mining operations in Johannesburg

JMPD TRU officers received a tip-off about illegal miners operating at Jackson informal settlement in Johannesburg.

The officers responded to the said location.

On arrival, five males were caught in the act (busy with their illegal mining operations).

Two unlicensed firearms were recovered.
