A man was fatally injured during a robbery on Vincent Dickenson Road in Canelands – KZN this morning (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 05:34. On arrival, RUSA Members discovered the body of a male in his thirties in a bush a few metres from the road. He sustained a stab wound to his chest. He showed no signs of life and was declared deceased.
According to a witness, two (2) suspects confronted the pedestrian. They robbed him of his cellphone and stabbed him before they fled on foot. The victim stumbled into the bush where he collapsed.
A case of murder is being investigated.
