A man was shot at a tavern on Spring Road in Tea Estate – KZN last night (Friday).
A witness contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) requesting assistance at the scene. On arrival, it was established that the victim was in the company of friends consuming alcohol when the gunman approached and tapped him on the shoulder. The suspect thereafter shot him once in the back and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported privately to hospital.
