Multiple injured in a serious collision reported on the B2 route near Swakopmund towards Arandis

Serious collision reported on the B2 route approximately 27 kms from Swakopmund towards Arandis.

A 7-seater travelling towards Arandis apparently crossed over into the incoming lane and struck an approaching pick-up on the left. The 7-seater veered off the road, struck a culvert and overturned.

Two occupants in the 7-seater (driver and front-seat passenger) received medical attention at the scene, while only one of the occupants of the pick-up required medical assistance at the scene.

Numerous occupants in the 7-seater were picked up from the scene by passing motorist prior to the arrival of any of the emergency and essential services to the scene.

Those injured were transported to hospital by #coderedmedicalservices and a MVA ambulance. The nature of their injuries were described as non-lifetheatening. Authorities paid special attention to the driver of the 7-seater.
