Five new police constables with three other Onseepkans SAPS constables pounced on an alleged drug dealer and confiscated drugs worth about R9300.
On 04 January 2024 at 10:00 Onseepkans SAPS operationalised information received and arrested a 32-year-old female after searching her house in RC Mission, Onseepkans.
The SAPS members confiscated 56 sachets of Crystal Meth (Tik) in her possession.
The suspect will be appearing in the Pofadder Magistrates’ Court on charges of illegal dealing in drugs soon.
The District Commissioner for the Namakwa District, Brigadier Schalk Andrews lauded the members for their unabated fight towards the eradication of drugs in the district.
