Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt after one person was killed and two others injured in Vuwani in the early hours of Sunday, 07 January 2024.
According to the information, two men were sitting inside a vehicle at Mangilasi Village when unknown suspects driving in a white BMW opened fire on them. The suspects then fled the scene.
The male driver who was with a male person sustained serious injuries. A 27-year-old male bystander was fatally shot during the incident.
The two victims were transported to the hospital in a critical condition.
Police have opened a case of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
There are no arrests yet, and the motive for the shooting is still unknown.
