Suspects sought for carjacking in Musina, motorists warned

Two suspects sought for, a carjacking incident that occurred on Thursday, 04 January 2024, at about 03:00 at Matswale in Musina.

According to reports, the 47-year-old male victim was driving a car when he felt tired and decided to park on the side of the road to rest.

Two suspects walking on foot suddenly approached the victim’s vehicle and dragged him out, and drove off with his vehicle.

The victim’s vehicle is a silver Toyota Tazz with registration DHT 450L.

The Provincial Commissioner, Liutenant General Thembi Hadebe appeals to motorists not to fall prey to these perpetrators with such a modus operandi.

“If you need to rest find a place of safety or where the public can assist should one find himself or herself in such situations,” concluded the Provincial Commissioner.
