The EMPD SCPU Officers intensify talks on road safety awareness in the Springs, Daveyton and Brakpan areas

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD), Social Crime Prevention Unit Officers (SCPU), continued to roll out road safety awareness for the holiday season at Springs shopping Mall, Daveyton shopping Mall and Brakpan shopping center.

With the holiday season still underway and slowly ending, the EMPD engaged members of the public while doing their last shopping for the holiday season, on road safety, since it plays a pivotal role, in the lives of community members at large and ensures knowledge of keeping safe.

Officers stormed into Springs shopping Mall, Daveyton shopping Mall and Brakpan shopping center, to engage shoppers on road safety and what measures to take, to ensure safety on public roads.

This venture by the EMPD, seeks to address and influence human behaviour, to improve road safety throughout the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE).
