JMPD TRU officers received info about suspects robbing motorists and terrorising members of the public at gunpoint on Rahima Moosa and Simmonds Road in Johannesburg.
They spotted the suspects vehicle, approached, searched the vehicle and recovered an unlicensed firearm.
Three males were arrested.
