Vehicles donated to the Police in Mpumalanga

Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Vusi Shongwe delivered a keynote address on Tuesday, 23 January 2024, when the Seriti Holdings, presented about ten vehicles to SAPS in the province. The function was held in Emalahleni.

SAPS Provincial Commissioner Lt.General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela thanked the company for the much needed donation which came in the midst of inadequate resources in terms of vehicles at most stations in the province.

The MEC on the other hand praised the company for being responsible corporate citizens who saw a need to assist in the fight against crime. He said the donation of the vehicle will play a major role in the effort to combat and prevent crime in the province.

He also reminded the police that they should conduct themselves well so that companies are inspired to emulate what Seriti Holdings did. He called on the company to consider the same gesture to traffic law enforcement in the future.

The function was supported by the Mpumalanga House of Traditional Leaders Chairperson, Kgoshi Lameck Mokoena and councillors from Emalahleni local Municipality, Provincial CPF Board and other stakeholders.
