KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Sipho Hlomuka officially handed over a contractor for the rehabilitation of P559 in Dassenhoek, eThekwini Metropolitan.
The rehabilitation of this road will improve the state of the road and eliminate potholes and other road pavement failures.
The upgrade will help to improve the traffic and traveling experience of motorists and commuters as this is one of the highly utilised road.
MEC Hlomuka was joined by the eThekwini Metropolitan Mayor, Cllr. Mxolisi Kaunda, eThekwini Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Zandile Myeni, Chairperson of the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders and Khoisan in KwaZulu-Natal, iNkosi Shinga, Local House of Traditional Leadership, iNkosi Shozi, local leaders and officials.
MEC Hlomuka also engaged the community of Dassenhoek in Bhekokuhle Sportsfield, eThekwini Metropolitan.
