Mi7 National Group’s Armed Response teams in Port Shepstone were quickly dispatched after reports that someone was robbed of their cellphone in Marburg.
The suspect had snatched the phone and fled into nearby bushes. With a quick response, Mi7 Reaction Officers were on
scene and got a description of the suspect.
They took off in pursuit, navigating thick shrubbery to find the suspect.
Eventually, during the pursuit, the suspect tripped and Mi7 teams apprehended him.
The stolen phone was recovered in his possession.
The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
