Whilst a member of KZNVIP was patrolling a road in the Newlands Area for suspicious motor vehicle they were flagged down for assistance by an Indian male driving a white Nissan hardbody bakkie. As the KZNVIP Member jumped off to assist the Indian male attempt to ram the office into the vehicle before Fleeing.
KZNVIP Officer pursued the vehicle into a narrow road where the suspect then rammed the KZNVIP Vehicle off the roadway causing extensive damage. The suspect is believed to be a resident of Magdale, Newlands West.
