Copper pipe thief stopped in his tracks in Kirstenbosch.
The officers were patrolling the Bishopscourt area when they came across a suspicious male with a backpack at about 8 pm in Kirstenbosch Drive the members stopped and searched the suspect and found copper wire, a handful of USB sticks and various suspected stolen items in his backpack.
The control room was informed. Claremont Saps was despatched and the suspect was arrested.
