A Community Policing Forum (CPF) patroller fled the scene of a shooting in Trenance Park – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Maple Drive after receiving reports of a shooting.
On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that a 32 year old theft suspect was being pursued when he was shot in the buttocks.
The Community Patroller thereafter fled with his firearm. The injured male is currently on scene in a stable condition.
The injured male was transported to a medical facility.
