Crime Awareness campaign held through a motorcade around Hebron

On Wednesday, 27 March 2024, SAPS Hebron along with the #CPF embarked on a #CrimeAwareness campaign through a motorcade around Hebron with the aim to heighten community members’ level of awareness about the negative impact of illegal firearms, substance abuse and #GBVF.

The event commenced with a formal proceeding. Subsequently, the motorcade proceeded through Hebron and Itsoseng during which #CrimePrevention pamphlets were distributed amongst shopkeepers and the community.

As the event was progressing, members received information about a lookout for suspects who just committed business robbery. Swift action by members of Hebron and other stations led to the apprehension of three suspects at Soshanguve Ext 1.

In conclusion, on behalf of the District management, Colonel Morapedi emphasised that the partnership between CPF and SAPS is fundamental in addressing crime in the community since CPF members are the #EyesAndEars for police in communities.
