Foreign national arrested for manufacturing of drugs

Hlanganani Moyo (36) has appeared before the Attridgeville Magistrate Court on today, 07 March 2024 on charges of manufacturing of drugs.

A search and seizure operation was conducted on Tuesday, 05 March 2024 at a plot in Centurion by members of the Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation and the East Rand Dog Unit (K9) after information was received about a plot were drugs are manufactured. On arrival, one suspect, Moyo was arrested while two other suspects escaped.

A red Hyundai i10 believed to be used in the commission of crime and drugs with an estimated value of R1 million were seized. The suspect made his first appearance before the Attridgeville Magistrates’ court on Thursday, 07 March 2024 were the matter was postponed to 13 March 2024 for a formal bail application.
