Three firearms (2 revolvers and a shotgun) were found in a locked room while another revolver was found in the wardrobe. At this stage no arrest were made and an enquiry docket was opened for investigation.

Maj Gen Dladla praised the police for their unwavering commitment in eradicating the proliferation of the firearms.’ The tireless work of our police officers is instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of our communities. Illegal firearms pose a grave threat to public safety, therefore by seizing these weapons on a daily basis, our officers are not only disrupting criminal networks but also preventing potential tragedies from occurring. We will continue to work tirelessly to rid our streets of illegal firearms and ensure a safer future for all members of our community,’ added Maj Gen Dladla.
