A puppy trapped in a drain was rescued by a member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) on Todco Road in Temple Valley – KZN today (Monday).
The Reaction Officer was dispatched to the call at approximately 10:04 after a resident heard the canine crying. On arrival, the Officer entered the storm water drain and rescued the male canine.
The dog was not injured.
The puppy was transported to RUSA HQ where he was uplifted by his owner who was unaware that he fled from their yard.
