A vehicle hijacked in a house robbery recovered in the Petit area

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Bronberg Precinct Officers, recovered a convertible silver Peugeot in the Petit area.

The EMPD Officers received information about a motor vehicle that was hijacked at Pretoria Road. The information was surveyed, and the motor vehicle was found along the Pretoria Road overturned with no suspects.

It is alleged that the vehicle was taken during a house robbery, where the male victim was held hostage and later shot in the arm. The suspects then robbed the silver convertible Peugeot and fled the scene.

All the necessary stakeholders were summoned, and arrest are imminent.
