Two meter black mamba captured in Buffelsdraai

A two (2) metre Black Mamba was captured in the ceiling of a conference centre in Buffelsdraai – KZN.

Employees of the Buffelsdraai Landfill contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after a construction employee noticed the snake.

Reaction Officer Nathi Ndaba was dispatched and on arrival removed several asbestos roof sheetings with the assistance from construction employees.

The RUSA Member thereafter captured and removed the reptile.
