A victim of copper theft noticed the suspect in the vicinity working at another residents home when he contacted KZNVIP the suspect was swiftly apprehended.
The alleged suspect is a resident of the informal settlement off Stonebridge Drive in Polar Park.
Unfortunately saps attended and confirmed the suspect cannot be arrested due to the footage not being clear even though the suspect was positively identified.
All emergency services were in attendance.
