The Members of Tuinplaas Community Service Centre in Waterburg District led by their Vispol Commander, arrested two suspects aged 39 and 56 for possession of suspected stolen livestock and animal cruelty on Thursday, 16 May 2024 at about 06:00 in the morning.
According to information, the Police were conducting their routine stop and searches along R516, when they stopped a white Toyota Hilux bakkie, and upon searching it, they discovered two cattle in the bakkie covered with a sail.
The suspects were immediately arrested for possession of suspected stolen livestock and animal cruelty.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has applauded the Police for the job well done
They will appear before Modimolle Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 17 May 2024.
The Police investigations are ongoing.
