On arrival, it was established that some garden refuse had caught alight and was burning.
Resources from City Of Joburg Fire arrived on scene to extinguish the blaze alongside ECSA crews.
The fire was extinguished later with joint efforts amongst the different fire fighting entities.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported on the scene.
