Two missing children sought by SAPS

The Police in Pienaar are requesting the public to help reunite Junior Mabandla (06) with his family.

According to information, Junior was last seen leaving his parental home on 03 June 2024 around 15:00 when he reportedly went to buy some sweets from a nearby spaza shop.

He was last seen wearing a blue jersey and black trousers.

Since then, he never returned home and community members, together with the Police searched the area but with no success.

Police urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, to contact the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Tinyiko Mnisi on 082 079 2237 or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111. Alternatively, members of the community can send information via MYSAPSAPP. All information received will be treated as confidential, and callers may opt to remain anonymous.

Police in Limpopo have launched an extensive search operation to locate a missing 8-year-old boy, Rifumo Chabalala residing at Khakhala village in Muyexe policing area outside Giyani under Mopani District who went missing on Monday afternoon, 03 June 2024.

According to the preliminary information, the child left home at about 16:00 to play with friends at the local soccer field but never returned home.

The family of the 8-year-old boy reported the matter to the local Police the following day on (Tuesday) and subsequently, a joint search operation ensued composed of the SAPS Muyexe and Giyani members, Search and Rescue unit and K9 Unit, supported by community members which went all over the area searching for the victim with no success.

Police appeal to anyone with information that can assist with reuniting the child with his family to urgently contact the investigating officer Warrant Officer Tinyiko Mabasa on 067 565 0240 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest Police Station. Alternatively, use MySAPSApp.
