four suspects entered Ackermans at Atterbury Value Mart, pretending to be customers. The suspects then pulled out a firearm and ordered the staff members to lie down. The suspects took cell phones and fled the scene.
Fidelity Security Officers then pressed a panic button after noticing the four suspects in a white BMW. Fidelity ADT Garsfontein Armed Response Officers responded. The officers chased one suspect who was on foot, the suspect jumped into another property.
The suspect was found on another premises, and was arrested and handed over to SAPS. The vehicle was later found abandoned.
