Six people were arrested after they attacked Officials from the Department Of Labour in Mhlasini – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a female requesting assistance.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene with the Verulam SAPS.
It was established that the two Officials were conducting compliance inspections at businesses in the area. They were attacked by six men after they attempted to penalise a non compliant business.
The suspects were arrested and detained at SAPS Verulam.
