Members of KZNVIP Were alerted to the incident, upon arrival it was established that a silver/white jetta 6 followed the vw polo which the victims were travelling in as they entered the Ronnies complex.
Occupants from the Jetta 6 then opened fire multiple times towards the vehicle fatally wounding a female whilst the male attempted to flee he was also shot and killed a few meters away from the vehicle.
KZNVIP Medics Attended the scene and sadly nothing could be done to save their lives. Circumstances leading up to the shooting cannot be confirmed at this stage.
