No injuries were reported after a tyre came off a minibus taxi that was travelling in Phoenix – KZN today (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were on patrol in the area when they witnessed the left rear tyre come off a Toyota Hiace taxi and strike a Ford Ranger bakkie parked on the side of the road. The driver of the minibus managed to navigate the vehicle and safely brought it to a stop. He was transporting minors at the time of the incident.
The bakkie was not damaged.
