Stolen vehicle recovered near the Zimbabwe border by SANDF

MT Car Sales which is situated in Pomona, Kempton Park, Gauteng Province, here is your Mercedes Benz sedan, thanks to the South African National Defence Force members who are overwhelmed and overstretched in striving to make South Africa a very safe Country for all her citizens.

Members of 1 Special Service Battalion were busy with Vehicle Control Point close to Poppaline Ranch which is situated along the South African/Zimbabwe border when this vehicle approached. When asked for proof of ownership, the driver asked help from his feet. Unfortunately for him, our soldiers were so strategically deployed that he ran into another ‘lion’ as the Chief of the South African National Army Lieutenant General Mbatha calls his soldiers; a pride of lions.

Needless to say, this luxurious sedan which was actually white when reported stolen and now painted silver as in the pictures, as well as the arrested driver, were handed over to the South African Police Service for further processing.
