A Fidelity Services Group officer was working in the Franschhoek area when he received an alarm for Dalibule Primary School.
On arrival, he immediately investigated the area of concern and found that one of the storerooms on the premises was open. With his perimeter inspection, he came across an unknown male running when the suspect noticed him.
The officer chased the suspect and caught him just before he could exit the premises with stolen goods.
He then brought the suspect back to the scene and SAPS was notified and the suspect was arrested.
