Five (5) suspects in a white VW Polo with registration (ND 517 574) are being sought for a house robbery that occurred on Crescent Place in Brindhaven – KZN this morning.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the property at approximately 07:58. On arrival, Reaction Officers established that a 59-year-old retired Policeman was in his yard with his employee when the occupants of the VW Polo confronted him.
The armed robbers forced the two into the house and held up his 57-year-old wife and domestic employee. The suspects ransacked the house and stole cellphones, a TV and jewellery before they sped off. A registration check confirmed that the number plates belong to a Nissan Tida.
The male victim was assaulted but did not require medical attention.
