Motorcyclist sought for business robbery in Tongaat

A motorcyclist is being sought for an armed robbery that occurred at a service station on Gopalall Hurbans Road in Tongaat – KZN.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene. It was established that a lone suspect armed with a firearm entered the store and confronted the cashier.

The robber stole cash, a cellphone and the victim’s handbag. He concealed his identity with a helmet. The suspect thereafter exited the store and fled on a white Big Boy motorcycle (registration unknown). The motorbike is fitted with a white top box.

No injuries were reported.
