Police in Durban have arrested three suspects who were found in possession of two firearms, ammunition and a knife on Monty Naicker Street in the Durban CBD on Sunday evening, 22 September 2024.
Police officers were conducting patrol duties when they stopped and searched a vehicle with three occupants. During the search police found two pistols whose serial numbers were filed off, three rounds of ammunition and a knife. Their vehicle was also impounded for further investigations.
The suspects, aged between 24 and 28 ld, will appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 25 September 2024.
