Members of the Gauteng Traffic Police, Gauteng SLEU (EC), and EMPD received intelligence regarding a female suspect who had purchased two vehicles, a Toyota Hilux and a VW Polo TSI-using fraudulent payslips and documentation from WesBank.
Following this tip-off, an observation operation was conducted, and both vehicles were successfully located at a designated address. Upon confirming that the vehicles were wanted for repossession and were involved in fraudulent purchases, WesBank was contacted for verification.
The vehicles were towed to the EMPD Tembisa Precinct for pounding, where further investigations are underway.
