On Thursday, October 17, 2024, at approximately 17:30, members of Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) were conducting routine patrols along Adler Street in Westbury, when they noticed a suspicious looking person.
When approached by the police, the man ran and the members persued him until he was caught. Upon searching him, members discovered a black plastic bag containing two small clear plastic bags. One bag had 74 zip locks of Khat, while the other contained 60 zip lock of crystal meth and a sum of cash was found in his possession.
The suspect was arrested and is expected to appear before court soon on a charge of possession of drugs.
