On 23/10/2024, an intelligence-driven operation was conducted in the Phoenix area. Acting on a search warrant granted by the Verulam Magistrates Court, DMPS members executed a raid at a known target’s residence in Ricemore Place.
Upon entering the property, the suspect, an Indian male was apprehended with various illegal drugs. He was arrested for possession of heroin, Mandrax, and crack cocaine, and subsequently detained at Phoenix South African Police Service Station.
