The Gauteng Traffic Police Air-wing together with the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, SAPS – Crime Intelligence – Counter and Security Intelligence, SAPS – Provincial Detectives Guateng, SAPS – Johannesburg Flying Squad, JMPD – TRT & K9 undercover and E2 Partners responded to an alert regarding an attempted kidnapping of a prominant business owner.
Upon receiving the information, AKU members swiftly reacted and secured the scene. Surveillance footage from the premises provided crucial insights into the identities of the suspects and the series of events that unfolded during the incident.
Following a well-coordinated operational response, the team successfully apprehended three suspects.
