Ongoing Operation on Anton Lembede Street in Durban

Today, the joint operation continues on Anton Lembede Street. Three Ethiopian nationals have been arrested for producing various fake documents, including asylum seeker permits, birth certificates, university degrees, fake councillor letters, and many others.

The suspects will be processed at Durban Central SAPS station.

Among the items confiscated during the operation were cigarettes, expired goods, and other non-compliant items.

This operation, involving Durban Metro Police Service , South African Police Service, Business Support, Fire, Business Licensing, Development and Planning, Department of Labour, Electricity, ITRUMP, and more, will not stop until all illegal activities around the EThekwini Municipality are rooted out.
