Early this morning, a Fidelity ADT Vaal Armed Response Officer was on patrol when he noticed a suspicious person with a bag.
The officer stopped the suspect and, upon investigation, found that the suspect had house break-in equipment and a stolen gate motor.
The suspect later disclosed that he had stolen the gate motor from Laerskool Vryheidsmonument.
SAPS and the school was notified. The suspect was handed over to SAPS.
