During patrols in Protea Glen, Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng Traffic Wardens from the Central Corridor STT received a tip-off from Rantrak Tracking Company regarding the location of a hijacked white Toyota Quantum.
Acting swiftly, the team proceeded to the given location and successfully recovered the vehicle.
In a separate operation in Soweto, officials on patrol received a notification from Car Tracker about another hijacked vehicle.
The officials tracked the vehicle to Diepkloof Zone 6, where it was recovered.
