A 26-year-old man sustained an open wound to his head after he was pistol whipped during a home invasion in Dawncrest – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Nightingale Circle at approximately 21:31 after receiving reports of the robbery. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered one male bleeding from an injury to his head.
It was established that three armed suspects confronted the man and his parents in their home. They pistol whipped one of the victim’s before stealing a tv, three cellphones and cash. The robbers thereafter fled in a silver Toyota Avanza.
The injured male received First Aid on scene from Paramedics from a Private Ambulance Service.
