Attempted home invasion suspect apprehended in Phoenix

Whilst on routine patrol in the Longcroft area KZNVIP Officers were flagged down by members of the community who was in pursuit of a suspect who was fought off by the home owner and managed to flee through a dense bush area.

Whilst members were searching for the suspect he appeared once again out of the veld area and proceeded as normal looking for scrap metals. The clothing description matched and homeowner positively identified the suspect who was apprehended by KZNVIP Officers.

Suspect was arrested and detained by Phoenix SAPS.
