A 28-year-old man was seriously injured after he was stabbed during an altercation on George Sewpersad Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene. On arrival, the victim explained that he was involved in a physical altercation with two men.
One of the males then produced a knife and stabbed him on his right shoulder. The duo thereafter fled. The injured male collapsed a short distance away.
Details leading up to the altercation were not established.
