Commissioner Lt Gen (Adv) Thembisile Patekile led from the front when he addressed the members on parade at 35 Squadron, Belhar on Tuesday, 24 December 2024, with continued #SaferFestiveSeason operations in the Western Cape.
It is an integrated parade comprising of SAPS Mounted Unit, K9 Unit, Tactical Response Team, Public Order Policing, Visible Policing, LEAP, Traffic, and Metro Police.
He urged all present to stamp the authority of the State, within the parameters of the law, and to render a professional service by treating all with pride and dignity.
Gen Patekile will accompany the integrated forces to prominent taxi ranks in the Cape Metropole.
The City of Cape Town Law Enforcement Assistant Chief Vosloo formed part of the entourage.
