KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to a shooting incident at a residence in Margate early this morning.
Upon arrival, paramedics discovered two individuals who had sustained critical gunshot wounds.
Advanced Life Support interventions were immediately administered on-scene to stabilize the patients, who were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital.
Sadly, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, both patients succumbed to their injuries shortly after arrival at the hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation by the South African Police Service.
