KZNVIP Reaction Teams were dispatched to reports of a hijacking in progress along Palmcastle, Newlands West on Monday evening.
Upon arrival it was established that a silver suzuki ertiga with 4 African male suspects armed approached the victim as he was leaving his home.
The suspects held up the victim for an undisclosed amount of valuables and also made off with a silver kia picanto ND614805.
No injuries were reported on scene, the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
Tracking agents were notified of the above incident, all emergency services were on scene.
